Idaho Farmer, Dustin Miller, set the 2023 National Spring Barley Yield Record at 200.97 bu./acre. It was seeded with a LEMKEN Compact Solitair Combination Seeder. The Compact Solitair, like Dustin's new Solitair DT prepared the seedbed ahead of LEMKEN's precise seed placement openers with a single pass at 6 - 10 mph. It creates an ultra-smooth seedbed. The narrow seed rows and precise seed placement allowed him to plant 20% fewer seeds. His first experience with LEMKEN was when he purchased a Rubin 12 High Speed Disc.
