EverLeaf® Forage Oats are a spring oat developed as a true forage variety. Everleaf Forage Oats will be taller and much leafier than other varieties of oats and produce high levels of dry matter yield if planted for forage production. They are a very late maturing variety of oat, and the prolonged vegetative period correlates with high forage quality as well as an extended harvest window. Everleaf Forage Oats will perform well under high fertility conditions and are not prone to lodging. They are not drought tolerant and prefer fertile soils with adequate moisture for maximum production.
