Like most family operations, the Sieren farm near Keota, IA, is very self-reliant. Tim Sieren, his two brothers, and their father have always taken great pride in their work. Asking for help was never part of the equation until an unexpected injury to Tim's leg and a stretch of wet weather left them with few options to get their crop in the ground. Thanks to a family friend, who also happens to be a district sales rep for Wyffels Hybrids, the Sierens were referred to Farm Rescue for assistance. Our volunteers and equipment were soon on site to provide planting relief and some much-needed recovery time for Tim.
