In today’s Episode of The Chronicles of Kayla we're Wet Baling those OATS!! For those that know us, WieczorekFarms is KNOWN for our small square business - and we might of caused a stir in the neighborhood with the sight of the RB4160V in the front field last week —-

We demo’d the @MasseyFergusonNorthAmerica RB 4160V to WET bale our oats for the cow calf operation …. The wet bales will go through a 21 day fermentation process in the silage film much like corn silage does. These bales will be later put in for TMR ration this winter. When it was all said and done we put up 443 WET bales that will go through a 21 day fermentation process just like corn silage would -- these bales were put up at a high moisture rate. We wrapped these bales, shutting off the air -- think of brewing beer -- it will take the starches and turn to sugars - - making it an excellent feed source for our cow calf operation this winter!!! Make sure to check back with us come November, when we start putting this feed in front of the herd.
