Humates are decomposed organic matter from hundreds of years ago. They are great for rebuilding the organic matter in your soil.
There are dry humate products and wet humate products. Dry products are good at building up organic matter over time, but their nutrients aren’t as available to plants in the short term. Liquid humate products, particularly those with fulvic acid, offer greater nutrient availability in the short term.
